Abstract
The article focuses on artist Mladen Stilinović’s effort to prove the freedom of laziness for man and defy the orthodoxy of always being busy in the modern contemporary capitalism. Topics discussed are considering art as part of life through picture book “Artist at Work”, “Praise of Laziness”, and “Foot–Bread Relationship”, establishing a career as documenter of performance, and impact of capitalism on art due to possession of art by the wealthy.
