Abstract
The article offers information on burlesque photography. In the 1870s, burlesque companies with peroxide blond employees became popular. Companies such as Newsboy and theatrical photographers like B. J. Falk, issued cheap portraits of luminaries of the dramatic and vaudeville circuits. Frances Everett is one of the women who became popular in the field of vaudeville and burlesque. Her stage debut was with the stock company Adelphi Theatre in 1882.
